CARY, N.C. (August 10, 2023) – The North Carolina Courage have announced a change in kickoff time for the team’s match against Gotham FC at WakeMed Soccer Park on Saturday, September 2. The match will now begin at 7:30 p.m. ET, a half-hour delay from the originally scheduled time.

The kickoff deferral is caused by a scheduling issue with fellow stadium occupant North Carolina FC of USL League One, forcing a doubleheader. North Carolina FC will play Central Valley Fuego at 4:00 p.m. ET preceding the Courage match. Fans with tickets to the Courage match may attend the NCFC match as well at no additional charge; however, there will be no stadium reentry. Click here for a list of Frequently Asked Questions. A joint Fan Fest will begin at 3:00 p.m. and run through halftime of the Courage match. Vendors and performers from last month’s Pride Festival, which was cut short due to lightning, will be in Fan Fest to make up for the missed experience earlier this year. September 2 will also be Dog Days of Summer, with four-legged friends welcome into the stadium.
