Courage Executes Contract Buyout of Midfielder Havana Solaun
CARY, NC (Sept. 3, 2022) – The North Carolina Courage has bought out the remainder of midfielder Havana Solaun’s contract, the club announced today. The club would like to thank Havana for her contributions and dedication, and wish her all the best in the future.
Solaun joined the Courage on a short term contract during the 2020 NWSL Fall Series, later signing with the team in January 2021. The Jamaican international made 22 appearances and accumulated 1,383 minutes of playing time with North Carolina, scoring one goal.
The Courage return to action on Sunday, Sept. 4 as they travel to face NJ/NY Gotham FC at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ.
