North Carolina Courage Announce Regular Season Schedule
CARY, NC (March 16, 2022) – The North Carolina Courage will play a 22-game NWSL regular-season schedule, as released by the National Women’s Soccer League today. The team will play 11 home and 11 away games, with at least one home match against each of the other 11 teams in the league. The NC Courage will look to compete for a third NWSL Championship and fourth NWSL Shield during their 2022 campaign. Check out the full Courage schedule HERE.

As part of the league’s balanced framework for 2022, a significantly smaller number of contests have been scheduled during FIFA windows, allowing for fewer conflicts for the league’s players who compete with both club and country.
The Courage’s regular season kicks off on Friday, April 29 at 10:30 p.m. ET on the road against Angel City FC in the California-based team’s inaugural home match. The Courage will return to WakeMed Soccer Park on Saturday, May 7 for their home opener against the Portland Thorns at 7 p.m. ET.
The Courage will host their final regular season home game on Saturday, September 24 at 7 p.m. ET against NJ/NY Gotham FC, before hitting the road to round out their regular season against the San Diego Wave on Friday, September 30 at 9:30 p.m. ET.
The top six teams at the end of the regular season will advance to the NWSL Playoffs, with the top two seeds receiving a first-round bye. The league will close out the 2022 campaign with the 2022 NWSL Championship on October 29.
Ally, the NWSL’s official banking partner, will once again dedicate its Player Impact Fund to financing the league’s playoff bonus pool. The Ally Player Impact Fund was established in 2021 to support the growth of the league and financial success of the NWSL players.
The 2022 regular season will air across The CBS Television Network and CBS Sports Network and stream live on Paramount+. Twitch, the home for all internationally streamed matches, will also stream select games in the United States. Television details for regular-season matches will be shared in the coming weeks.
